
From my last blog, there have been numerous articles in the industry regarding digitisation and what that’s going to mean to specific industry players. One in particular, insurers, are being placed in an exciting position where they are required to step up or… well, there isn’t a real alternative (in my opinion).
This journey will reshape the client and insurer experiences considerably. From current experience, the insurance landscape has much to offer clients but most insurers haven’t yet taken up the opportunities that await them. With the advent of AI, MI and big data, there is very little that an insurer will not be able to do for clients in the future – proactively.
The insurer needs to remain relevant to its clients. Most clients still want the human touch but it must be linked to the clients’ needs – which in some instances has been causing frustration the client as compared to empowering the client.
